We are the proud parents of three teenagers (Cam (17), Bode (15) and Annika (15)) and the newest addition to our family Tucker, our two-year-old Golden Retriever. Our journey began in 1996 at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL as business majors, we married in 2001 (11 days after September 11th), moved to Michigan for a slower pace of life in 2005 and welcomed our firstborn in 2007.
Mark is a VP of Sales for a commercial printing company based in Sparta and Lynn is an Associate Director at Outdoor Media Group. We both currently work full time from home while providing 24/7 care for Annika. We are eternally grateful to our employers and coworkers who have stepped in to support our family since Annika’s diagnosis.
Our boys are very active, with both involved in ski racing, baseball (Cam), and football and track (Bode). We strive each day to provide them with the love, attention and support they deserve. Prior to Annika’s diagnosis, we had blissfully limited exposure to childhood cancer. With her diagnosis comes new “degrees” in medicine, rehabilitation, psychology, DME and scoping out the most tactical spot to park with a ramp van.
We are regular people doing the best we can to tirelessly advocate for our baby (and others similarly afflicted) and turn lemons into lemonade!

I am a 10 year breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in my early 40s after my mom and sister previously were diagnosed. Strangely enough, we do not carry the breast cancer genes that the medical world knows about, which in part fuels my passion for research in all
cancers.
I am honored to be part of the AAF Board of Directors. I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the fight against medulloblastoma tumors.

I am honored to serve on the Board of AAF and help support the amazing mission while also walking side by side on the journey as Lynn's sister and Annika's Auntie. From the first night of her diagnosis to the months of radiation and chemo to the hospital stays and rehab, I have watched Anni take on each new challenge with a positive attitude and fierce determination.
My husband (Brad) and I reside in Peoria, Arizona with our children (Kayla, 15 & Jake, 11) and Bernedoodle (Shadow). I currently work for Nationwide Insurance where I consult with Executive leaders on internal & external communications and event planning. I also served for 13 years on the Board of Directors for the Will2Walk Foundation, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of those with spinal cord injuries. I am passionate about seeing nonprofits evolve and grow, and look forward to helping Anni's Army make an even greater impact in the years to come.

My oldest daughter Teagan became friends with Annika in Kindergarten and remained close throughout elementary school. Through the girls' friendship, playing soccer together, and faith formation, the Meiers and I also became good friends. I am honored to be part of Anni's Army Foundation as cancer is a disease that affected my family as well.
In 2006, my sister Lindsey was diagnosed with stage IV glioblastoma (brain tumor). Lindsey fought hard with grace for three years before earning her wings in 2009. I understand first hand a family’s fight against cancer. I am committed to raising awareness and funding for the ongoing research of brain tumors. I hope the impact of Anni’s Army Foundation will one day lead to a cure so no family has to experience the fight against cancer.
As Mark’s younger brother, I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Anni’s Army Foundation. From the very first night I received the phone call from Mark about Anni’s diagnosis, I saw firsthand the immediate impact this cancer can have on a family.

I’m married to my stunning wife (Emily) and we have 5 amazing daughters who proudly support Anni’s Army as well. My career has been primarily in the private sector, most recently working in Software Product Management at Brunswick Bowling Products (I don’t bowl), and I’ve been involved in kids’ ministries and leading Bible studies at our church for the past 15+ years.
Watching Anni battle through the years of treatments and therapies, setbacks and victories, has reminded me that there are other families who will need support as they go through this battle. Mark and Lynn have decided to do something positive with a difficult diagnosis, and I’m excited to be part of a movement to change outcomes for families facing childhood cancers.

My name is Jeff Rigley, and I am honored to be a part of this great cause and foundation! I have known Mark and Lynn for some time now as our oldest sons were in daycare together. Since then, our boys have progressed though little league, travel and high school baseball together. Mark and I also shared spots on the little league baseball board together. I am the father of two boys and the husband to my amazing wife Alyssa. I have been a coach in multiple sports, and love being involved in the community. In 2018, my family went through a tough ordeal with my oldest son having to undergo brain surgery for an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). Thankfully all went well, and our son is thriving! If I am being honest, I feel a little guilty for being part of such a great cause, having been fortunate enough to have less of the uphill battle with my son. That said, it has been amazing to see the support of Anni’s Army, Mark, Lynn and the boys, and I look forward to this journey. It is very exciting to be a part of a cause that has the potential to make such positive change.
