Anni's Army Foundation, in partnership with another organization, covered the cost of a new water heater for the family of a teenage brain cancer patient at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. The 13-year-old girl was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma five months ago. She underwent neurosurgery, followed by six weeks of radiation, and is now receiving immunotherapy infusions every other week. To make matters worse, her father recently passed away. This girl and her family have been through so much. We hope Anni's Gift can provide some relief and comfort they so deserve.
Anni's Army Foundation sent the parents of a pediatric brain cancer patient gift cards to aid in the purchase of groceries. This soon-to-be 7-year-old was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma after several months of symptoms. He underwent neurosurgery and was awaiting radiation to begin when his tumor grew and his cancer progressed. The parents have made the difficult decision to forego further treatment and seek the support of hospice care at home. We pray Anni's Gift can provide some comfort during this time.
Anni's Army Foundation gifted Viv, an 8-year-old from Florida, and her family $500 in support of her final trip request. Viv is 18 months into her fight against DIPG and would like to see snow and ski. This tugs at our heartstrings as Annika loves the snow and before her diagnosis was a competitive ski racer. In partnership with the Rylan Strong Network, we are hoping to grant Viv her Christmas wish. To learn more about Viv and her journey, visit the Rylan Strong Network or TeamViv on Facebook.

We pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time and hope Anni’s Gift can provide some solace.

Anni’s Army Foundation recently paid off a large auto insurance bill for the family of a 12-year-old pediatric brain cancer patient through Anni’s Gift. This young lady has had multiple recurrences over the last few years and has moved into post-surgical therapy to fight this latest recurrence. The financial assistance will allow mom to take unpaid time off to take her daughter to clinic and radiation appointments and she is grateful to be able to focus her efforts on providing the care her daughter needs as she continues her fight. Anni's Army Foundation looks forward to continuing to provide support to pediatric brain cancer patients and their families.
Anni's Army Foundation was honored to meet and support the Lovell family of Belding, MI through Anni's Gift. Hazel, a beautiful and strong 8-year-old girl with Down Syndrome and Autism, was in need of a wheelchair-accessible van. With the help of Anni's Gift, the Lovell family was able to purchase a van for Hazel. Knowing how crucial a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is to supporting children in wheelchairs, Anni's Army Foundation was happy to support this cause.
Anni's Army Foundation recently gifted the family of a 9-year-old brain tumor patient, now in hospice care, a variety of gift cards to aid with gas, groceries, and food to their favorite restaurants. This tugs at the heartstrings even more so as this young man was diagnosed with the same type of brain tumor as Anni. We hope Anni’s Gift provides relief to the family and extra time to spend with their sweet child. Anni's Army Foundation looks forward to helping other pediatric brain cancer patients and their families.
